Required firmware version:
ENF_DX1_03.26 - click to download

How to update ENFORCER DX1 firmware:
1. Extract the file firmware_DX1.bin
2. Copy firmware_DX1.bin to the root (top level) of the micro SD card, it should not be in any folder
3. Insert the micro SD card into the main console, then power on the unit
4. The system will detect the firmware file and perform the update automatically*
5. The LED indicator will rapidly blink during the update process, wait until it resumes steady blinking in 1 second intervals

* If the LED indicator does not rapidly blink after step 4, press UP or DOWN once, then press OK

How to install the GPS module:
The antenna is located on the side with the pre-applied adhesive (not shown). For best results, stick it on the windshield so the antenna side faces outward towards the sky. It can be placed elsewhere, but reception may be less than optimal.

Consider the length of the cable (110cm/3.6ft) and the proximity of the main console when deciding mount location for both the GPS module and the main console. If you're installing the GPS module to your existing ENFORCER DX1 dash cam, it may be necessary to relocate the main console and adjust established cable lengths to accommodate.

1. Connect the 12V adapter mini USB plug to the GPS module
2. Connect the mini USB plug from the GPS module to the main console
3. Place the GPS module in desired location, make sure the cables are sufficiently long
4. Unplug the cables and route them as necessary, then replug cables and securely mount the GPS module
5. You may need to change the timezone in the settings, the default is set to PDT UTC-7
